The service from Tails is great! Cooper loves his kibble and the regular deliveries give me peace of mind. The referral scheme is great too. By way of improvement:
1) The bags should be recyclable / returnable - there's no real excuse in today's world to produce non-recyclable packaging. Maybe invest in a TerraCycle partnership? (I'm using mine once more as potato planters, but that will still see them end up in landfill).
2) Having an app as well as the online dashboard, which from a UX perspective can be a bit challenging to navigate.
They were ok for a while, but recently customer service has deteriorated. I have emailed them 3 times with a request. I have had no response whatsoever (they usually respond the same day or within 24 hrs). I have therefore cancelled my subscription. I have tried to remove my card details from the account, but the site won't let me. I have emailed again and told them to remove my card details, if any money is taken from my account I will report, as i have not given them permission to take any more money. Shan't ve using them again and I would not recommend them!

Having a fussy older staffie who started refusing other quality brands from stores and who was often sick after eating it was a bit of a last resort trying Tails. From day 1 he has enjoyed his food and seems much healthier too and he has more energy. I think it's great value for money and having it delivered saves lugging big bags of kibble home from the shops. I would definitely recommend based on our experience & Buddy would too.
Excellent service. Always helpful with the constant growth of my dog. Appreciate there are cheaper options but you do pay for what you get and more importantly, the bowl is always licked dry and my English bulldog to date has not had an upset stomach ????.
Having tried a few different brands of food for our pup, I decided to give Tails a try. Luna took to it straight away and now very rarely has an upset tummy. Poos are healthy looking and she rarely gets stinky wind! The portion scoop is handy and it’s very reassuring to know we’re feeding her just the right amount. The customer service team are helpful and answer any questions. I highly recommend Tails!
This is a really great service. Firstly you go through an extensive questionnaire about your dog and this gives you the best mix of food for them. I had issues with my 12 year olds coat looking really awful and literally leaving clumps all over the house. I was at my wits end trying different things but nothing seemed to help so when someone gave me a code for a free trial I thought “why not” I have really noticed a huge improvement but it did take a few months. He still sheds a fair bit of hair but nothing as bad as it was.
The food is high quality and comes with its own personalised scoop so you know exactly how much to feed and the food is low odour too. (The last brand I tried him on had a very fishy smell and was off putting) I find he will eat this as it is without me having to hide “extras” in it.
His account is easy to manage too so if I find I have enough food or simply want a break for a month all you have to do is suspend delivery and resume when you’re ready.
This service is so easy so I’d recommend to anyone. You have nothing to lose and the cost isn’t as much as you’d think.
Before Bailey started having the above dog food he was a different dog and was being unwell at times,
So we decided to give it a go and from day 1 he was a different dog and really enjoyed is breakfast and dinner each day and would eat all is food.
It is also good that you change the delivery date if you have too and they message you a couple of days before it is packed just to reminder and if you want to add any item or remove any items.
Many thanks for making Bailey happy.
a convenient way to look after you pets food supply
delivered to your door no need to nip out for it last minute
regular emails on next delivery where you can delay next batch if you have a build up of previous delivery
Brilliant service and the website is user friendly making it quick and easy to make any changes.
Would be 5 starts if option to order wet food only was available as despite using the Tails scoop and portion reco.mendation I just can't seem to use the full dry food in 1 month.
I have a chihuahua with allergies. I ordered their hypoallergenic mix. The kibble size was large - not small breed. When i queried it they said they had no small kibble without chicken - which my dog can't tolerate. They should have advised of this. I don't call that tailor made for my dog. Shame because if they had the right sized kibble i would have subscribed.
Sweep loves his Tails food. His general health is very good. He has a tendency for dry flaky skin but even his groomer commented his skin much better too. Sweep likes the variety although he’s not big on dry food, loves the wet food, he could be very picky and get bored with his trays. He likes to snack through the day on the biscuits! He’s a grazer but if it suits him we’re happy. His digestion is good and he’s ‘regular’
Not a good start, I am a new customer and I have 3 dogs, I placed an order for all 3 after seeing an advertisement for 50% off the first order. I only received 50% off 2 of the 3 bags of food. I have emailed customer service to query this and to ask what the protein level is in the food, so far no response.
Update: Tails.com have issued a refund of 50% on the 3rd bag of food and have provided a satisfactory response to the protein level.
